I'm not even going to bother arguing with you guys ;) I'm not going to give you the pleasure.

Whoever buys this will respect that it has huge potential - and will probably do very well with it.

If you've had quite enough enjoyment out of trying to ruin my sales thread with unconstructive comments, then I'd like to ask you to leave.

Nobody is trying to 'ruin' your thread. They're simply voicing their opinions. Every point made so far has been a valid one. If you really expect to be able to sell your website for $700, straight off with no questions asked, then you're selling in the wrong place.

As I said, it has a nice design, it's just simple and to me, not worth the $160 you say it's worth. As with the target market, it's not as much of a niche as you think it is. Just a few points for potential buyers to take into consideration.

    Anyway, that's enough from me.

I'm not sure where you're getting the $160 for the design from, please read the breakdown again:

    Breakdown of what it's worth:
    $160 - owned vb
    $8.88 - domain (movforum.com)
    $8.88 - domain (movforums.com)
$350 - Chris Rowes vb design
$200 - coding by Gary Rae
    Total = $727.76

As I've mentioned before, the value is mainly in the vbulletin skin. Chris Rowe is a professional designer... and the comments I've had in this thread are basically trying to criticise the design.

I'm not trying to sell based on members/posts/revenue, and I've never mentioned I have.

You're basically replying saying you don't think the design is worth what it's worth - well, unfortunately, you're wrong. $350 is what Chris charges for a forum design, and I think that he did a fantastic job.

This is a sale for someone who wants to start a top quality forum, and unless you want to buy (which you two obviously don't), then get out of my sales thread.

Ok, so I was wrong about the $160...What I meant to say was $350. Oh, wait, that's over double. So you're saying the most notable feature is the skin, designed by somebody else, and not the website? Surely if somebody wanted to do a website like this, they could simply contact Chris and go about it their own way (if they really do want to pay out over-the-odds). Integrating vB into a website and adding a skin doesn't justify $700.

    Anyway, happy selling.

God, after post #22 where you said:
I thought I'd gotten rid of you.

The site is ready to go, it's professionally designed, and for someone wanting to buy a site like this, it's perfect. $350 is not over the odds for a design, you're living in a dream world if you think that you can easily get something better than this done for $700.

Please stop replying to my thread.

If that is true, then why did you just lower your BIN?

The truth is, it is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. I could tell a designer to charge me $24,000 for a basic design. Does that mean the design would be worth $24,000??

The answer to that question is no. It is you that is living in a dream world not us.
