Moved to custom domain with 301 redirect. When will google transfer my PR?

Its been 8 months now that I moved from http://theartofstart.blogspot.com (a blogger hosted blog) to http://www.environmentabout.com/ (a wordpress self hosted blog) with 301 permanent redirect from old domain to new domain. My blogger blog was a PR2 blog.

I read in Google Help Forums that Google transfers PR of old domain to new domain in 3-4 months if permanentally redirected. But even after 8 months, my new wordpress blog has 0PR, though the number of backlinks have increased to 35000 (as displayed in webmaster tools).

Also I am not getting enough traffic as I expected. Can you guide me what is going wrong??

From what I have seen with PR you may just have to wait until Google does an update. Sometimes Google will not update PR for a year. This could all come down to the age of the domain.

One suggestion could be to buy the domain for 3 years if you have not already to show Google it is not going anywhere.

Also I would like to point out that you are trying to transfer PR from a blogging site so maybe Google does not consider it as easily as if it came from a personal domain. Just a thought.
