    Hi everybody,

I have registered a new domain and have moved my old blog to the new domain. I know that I have to add a permanent redirect for my old blog. Now the problem, I got somebody who wants to buy my old domain. My question is how many days should I keep the redirect for Google to crawl so that I don't lose my link juice before I can sell the domain?

    Thanks.

If you are going to sell your old domain you will loose the link juice.

You need to keep it with you for not lossing your rankings.

and do redirect with htacess other wise your ranking will not be given to new domain.

    Hi saqib889,

I understand that I have to do a redirect for retaining my link juice. But my question is for how long? Once google crawls my new blog, then can I remove the redirect?

    Thanks.
