Move SMF Forum

    Hey guys I have an SMF forum and need to change the servers... Please tell me what all has to be done..

    To be short:
    - close forum on old server
    - backup database
    - backup files
    - upload files to new server
    - change configuration file for mysql settings of new server
    - upload database
    - open forum on new server.

    ;)
    I guess, if you were abled to get a SMF forum up, you'll be abled to get this done too :)
    Of course, it all depends on the size of your forum!

    Be sure to do that; I'll stand by if necessary lol.
    If the database backup is too big to import (10MB+ or so), you could always use tools like BigDump.
