Move my site from osCommerce to Magento but need advice

    Hello

    I really could do with some advice please, ive been running a osCommerce store for about 3 years and its doing ok, i pretty high in the search engines and getting good traffic, but the last few days i have come across Magento its an open source cart looks to be the business and i would like to move my osC site over to Magento, but what is really worrying me is that if i move over i will lose my position in the serach engines (more google than the others) or does this not happen?

    Any advice would be brill.

    The biggest issue is this: if you move from OSC to Magento, you need to make sure that you do a 301 redirect from each OSC product page to the new Magento product page. If you don't do that, those pages will lose their place in search engines.
