I have moved most other aspects of the website to wordpress but can't work out the homepage - also I think it affected my traffic when I tried to move everything to wordpress does that sound right?

Create a new page in WP. Go to your HTML page. Highlight the entire page. Paste it into the editing box in WP. (If there are images, you''ll have to add them in the right places in the editi9ng box as images.)

Any change you make to a site can affect your traffic, since the amount of traffic depends on how interested people are in your site. A site that's basically "buy my stuff" won't get as much traffic as a site that's just how and why, with a line like "if you don't want to bother doing it all yourself, you can buy what you need here" with a link to a page that sells your stuff. For everyone who will go to your "buy my stuff" site there are 100 people who will read your "here's how you do it" site. (If the only reason you're running the site is to make money, get a job at minimum wage - you'll make a lot more money.)

OK so it is basically a copy and paste job, the problem (for me) is that it will be quite time consuming with a lot of pictures and editing to make it look the same I guess. Oh well, what else should I expect?!

I do run a blog to try and share information with readers in the hope they will want to take it further by buying the Ebook. I actually try to get them to sign up to a free 7 part series that offers a lot more info, and from there try to sell the Ebook. I am not really sure which is the better option - focus on getting people to sign up for the free 7 part course (and sell from there) or focus on getting people to click through to my 'sales page'. What do you think?

Thanks for your help and advice!

Focus on running a blog. Mention the free course in the blog once in a while, but the main focus should be the blog, and you should have at least one new post every day. That's how you get repeat visits.

If you consider a blog to be mainly a source of income, a minimum wage job is a lot less work and you make a lot more money. If you consider a blog a way to write to an audience, you get a lot of visitors.
