Yes, there are many sites on the subject that are working in india, www trustsquare com (remove spaces to log on to site) is one of them. What would be your revenue model? i guess adsense, ? if so, such sites get decent traffic ( i wont say too high) but then if you tieup with any site that allows you percent of every sale that happens, it is good model Go ahead and all the best !!!!!!
Idea is good and I say it will work. You can allso try implement an affiliate program into the site... or something else like chitika (you'll get a high CTR: if a visitor sees a review for a mobile.. he will surely click on an add with a mobile info)
