    It's too dark, the 3 biking pictures on the top right are a good basis for a new color scheme.

    It looks like a very cliche layout. Try doing something creative with the layout.

    Seems like you have a great community so I guess they will stick around no matter what, those are just my design suggestions though.

    First thing I thought was way too dark. But that is me, I just don't like dark at all, only in a few certain situations does it work well. I like the header quite a bit, well done there.

    If you are getting complaints from members, you have to figure there are at least twice as many who feel the same way but aren't saying anything. You may want to look at a custom design, your site deserves it.
