I like the term "mount" better too. Either that or MT. but not mountain.. That just doesn't sound right, IMO, unles the "mountain" is after the name not before.
I too prefer the mount everest. Is it the exact name or just an example ? Because there are many other good prefixes according to the name and also there are many other interesting factors naming a hill station.
