I bought this site www.vdir.biz from this thread (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=105977&highlight=vdir+sale) less than a month ago, I want to sell the site due to not having much experience with joolma and needing the cash(for a skin) and time for other projects.

When I bought the site, the database the seller sent didn’t work so the site was offline until I got another copy and the site lost some indexing in the search engines. I am sure that this indexing will come back as the homepage is still indexed. The site has loads of articles (by feed, pictures and videos).

Source of revenue : $23 so far for Adsense(for first 3 months) havent had adsense on since I have had the site(about 1 month) as I cant get adsense module to work, I think its just the settings.

the guy that sold it to me made the revenue. I havent had any adsense on the site since I got it. if you put adsense on the news page you would make money. I did see the stats before buying so did all the others (I presume) that bid so they are real figures.

it uses joomla. The feed uses feedgator (i think its a plugin to joomla) you just press the import all link and it brings in all of the articles from the 7 feeds(from different sites) since the last update. I will update it now. I cant give you access to the admin section for obvious reasons. I can give you a screen shot of what you want to see please let me know.

just noticed that google has started reindexing the site, it has 600 pages indexed at the moment in google.

 

up for sale again after buyer kool02 pulled out. $100 wins it,
