I was wondering what you thought was the most valuable ccTLD (Country Code TLD). Would I be correct in saying that .co.uk is the best? Which one would you say is the 2nd most valuable?
Well there is no best or worse ccTLD in absolute terms Just more and less demand More computer and internet educated countries require more names too UK and Germany follow exactly this principle
Well as i said before the phrase "most important" has many aspects I don't examine the fact of the economic growth of each country but only their participation to internet growth and their will to buy domain names on .com level. Based on the that you can judje if they are interested for domains or not. It's not an exact estimation but you get the idea : United States Germany United Kingdom Canada China France HongKong S.A.R. Australia Japan Spain Korea Italy Netherlands,The Turkey Cayman Islands India Russia Denmark Sweden Bahrain Brazil Switzerland Norway Austria Poland Belgium Finland Mexico Czech Republic Argentina Bulgaria Thailand Ireland Malaysia Israel New Zealand Iran Saint Vincent And The Grenadines Ukraine Indonesia Singapore Portugal South Africa Taiwan Vietnam Vatican City State (Holy See) Romania Panama Hungary Pakistan Venezuela Croatia(Hrvatska) Egypt Saudi Arabia Greece Colombia Monaco Luxembourg Philippines Peru Slovenia Estonia CostaRica United Arab Emirates Cyprus Cocos (Keeling) Islands Yugoslavia Chile Uruguay Barbados Lebanon Latvia Kuwait Morocco Lithuania Slovakia Belize Ecuador Syria Samoa Netherlands Antilles Oman Isle of Man Kenya Virgin Islands (British) Bangladesh Belarus Gibraltar Sri Lanka Antigua And Barbuda Malta Andorra Bahamas,The Tuvalu Niue Nigeria Guatemala Tunisia Jordan Puerto Rico
According to SEDO, the second most popular domain extension is .de. Because I'm a newb, I can't post a link to the article... but it can easily be found by doing a search on google.
