Most user friendly forum software

Hi all

What's the most user friendly forum software available?

I am setting up a new site, the target market may not be that tech savvy, so I want to keep it as simple as possible.

I normally use joomla for my sites as I need a diverse range of functionality, but for this one I can't see it going beyond a forum and possibly user blogs / articles

i would say...right now is the wordpress moment of Glory!

 

The most user friendly forum software may be wordpress 3.0 with the buddypress plugin.

 

phpbb is pretty simple... and its free

 

i would recommend phpbb as well

my opinion: phpbb is good soft to try at begining

 

I Like myBB for ease of installation and use

 

personally i stick to vbulletin, easy to use and tons of plugin

 

MyBB hands down..

 

paid software: VBulletin

Free software: Simple machines forum. (upgrades, updates are dead easy for admin)

The best feature i liked is the homepage of the forum will ask the following 2 questions:
# Show unread posts since last visit.
# Show new replies to your posts.
So, in my opinion, SMF is the best.

 

Well I will recommend VBulletin over Wordpress as it is very rich in functionality and very easy to configure.

 

phpBB is very powerful and has a User Blog plugin

 

Vbulletin is the best fourm as i am conserend you get lots and lots of mods for that so try to use that

 

I think Invision Powerboard is the best!
