    I was shocked to learn that 3,000,000 years ago my ancestors just learned to walk upright, and had hairy bodies. They were apelike and could barely talk!:eek:

    My ancestors eventually evolved. His ancestors had big noses and crooked teeth, unfortunately they never did evolve.:eek:

    Well, I was quite shocked when my 91-year-old-grandmother recently told me that she was dating two guys at the same time when she was young.

    My grandmother had a baby out of wedlock in the 1930s when she was 18 which she put up for adoption. No word on how the pregnancy happened, but it was still a shock as she hid the secret from everyone except her husband (my grandfather). Only after my grandmother died was the secret revealed to the family.

    But back then casually dating two guys was not anything scandalous as sex before marriage was frowned upon by all of society. There were some exceptions, naturally.
