Hi. I would appreciate recommendations for quality hosting companies. The priorities are (1) reliability (few or no outages) and (2) 24/7 support (and I mean it, as my sites have users all over the world and I operate at strange hours). I have put this as a separate thread as I do not expect the usual 'cheap'. However, at the same time, I am not in the market for dedicated servers as I can not commit to paying a thousand notes per year. PS Would VPS improve my reliability without breaking the bank? PPS Would prefer UK, although if US host exceptional, would consider.
One highly reputable provider is liquidweb, which is around $15 per month. I would recommend to stick with shared hosting. Provided that the host is reliable, then you should be fine. If you are worried about other websites impacting on your website, then you might have better performance (and or better peace of mind) if you choose a host that has cloud linux (cloud linux helps prevent other users on the server from impacting on your service). Before you signup with any host though, send them an email. Their response time will give you some idea of how long it will take for support once you are a customer. Be sure to mention any concerns, and or give them an idea of the site, the current level of visitors and see what they will say. If you are already hosting somewhere, and you are changing hosts, mention why you are leaving and what your looking for. One thing I learnt a while ago, is that if you are changing hosting providers, it pays to keep both accounts running until you are convinced that you are happy with the new provider. This goes for shared hosting, as well as VPS, and Dedi.
To me it sounds like a VPS would be good. Most of the reputable companies have VPS offers now. ex. BlueHost/GreenGeeks/HostGator.
try dreamhost they have good reputation for providing reliable hosting services along with 24/7 customer support. also use coupon code(60DIS1Y) will save you $60 instantly.
I believe the OP is talking as a hosting reseller...? More specifically a web hosting reseller. If that is the case I'm pretty sure he would need a cpanel control panel for these sites. "A Fully Managed SSD VPS will cost you in $45/Month" ...A fully managed SSD VPS at $45/mo is ridiculously expensive...! ...yet does not mean that it would include a control panel like cpanel. It would give you root access and the ability to install a control panel. You would need to be rehearsed/learned on Linux command line to get anything done. If you are searching for a reliable hosting company that will take care of you, the best option would be www.ONeilOnline.com. They are not a reseller, but unlike many, own their own hardware, network, and have been around since 1994. They do web hosting, vps hosting, and dedicated hosting to name a few services you may be interested in. They offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee, 24x7x365 support, and free migration. Feel free to shoot them a support ticket or chat with them via live chat to verify their response times.
It's hard to give any recommendation if you do not provide more information about your web hosting requirements such as required disk space, bandwidth, etc.
You will get various suggestion for reliable hosting companies but in the end you have to make choice. No company is perfect but few companies offer good quality hosting and fast support among them and you need to look for such companies.
I would like to recommend here that companies which satisfy our requirements and provides us with good support and number of addons are companies to be made final.
