Online Shops.... Community Sites.... Paid Membership Content Sites.... Inventing and selling your product.... Blogging.... What would you say is the Most Profitable Business ?
Blogging: if you offer consistency and great stories through your posts, your blog can earn great profit, also it is easy to start without any budget.
It depends on YOU. If you are really good at one but not the others then that one topic will be most profitable for you. Personally I think a good membership site would be a great business model. It's very stable and the profitability can be extremely good if you have a good site. It's also very difficult and time consuming. Not the type of thing to undertake if you plan on quitting right after you start. If you have a lot of good relevant information on a topic that is difficult to find, you're set. If you like to jabber on about random things but are good at it and never run out of material to write about, do a blog. People really like to read frequently updated blogs/websites so that could be a good business model. Lots of readers means big dollars for ad space. You can make a good living with a popular blog. Online stores are alright but that's like any classic business. There is still a lot of monthly overhead and if it's slow to start, you'll be losing a lot of money and motivation. If you think you can cut it in retail and husstle up the business you need to make money, do it. Creating a product and selling it online is great. It can mean HUGE profit margins and long term passive income. Invent a product and milk it for years... great stuff.
This is really a debatable topic. Think about some of the largest companies in the world... McDonalds, Wal-Mart, Microsoft... they are all different types of stores and extremely profitable. Find something you enjoy doing, there should be a profitable twist to it most of the time. Heck, just take a look at thecgs.com... people are making gaming profitable these days.
The best way to make money online is to visit forums asking complete strangers, who won't give you their financial information, what's the "best" way to make money. Just do something and see what happens. If you can't do that, your next step should be filling out a job application or not making plans to leave the one you have now.
Perhaps some of the companys mentioned in PHPGator's reply? I agree though that the best way is to pick a business model and roll with it... if it's profitable you'll soon find out.
It might not be a popular statement, but I've been in the business world for a long time and have seen countless people try to run a business and there's a large part of the population that would be better off getting a good job and working on their career.
I will go with blogging. Does not require any startup cost and if you do well it can give you quite a big return.
The best markets are the ones that have not arrived yet. As I always say; The best ideas are the ideas that you have not already had! marketjunction is 100% right!
community sites are much good from everyone.but it needs much more traffic.and after doing this you are the luckiest in the world like Shawn.
that programmin skills needs time to learn mate, i think that starter asked about business from the scratch
People, whatever you choose you will have to work. If you don't put in effort you probably won't get any returns. Simple as that. Stop wasting time debating what's easiest/most profitable and just try one! Experiment and you'll find what works for you.
