Most profitable adverts to use on a website?

Hi there,

I've got a website with regular unique hits, I was just wondering what is the best advertising program to use on this site? I want to be paid every time someone clicks an advert or joins a free site, or downloads some free software - I don't want people to have to spend any money.

At the moment I'm thinking of firefox downloads using google and pricerunner.

Since we have no idea what your site is about, we can't give much insight.

AdSense = $ when someone clicks
Firefox is good, but doesn't work for every type of site

Join Azoogle...they have tons of "free sign up" crap that gets you paid.

fyi, call them if they don't get back to you by thurs/fri. i had to call to finally get approved.

 

AdSense would be a good start, indeed. It works for me. Actually works for almost any site that is not made just for ads. For those sites I would not advice you since there is not much money in those ads.

I haven't tested Azoogle yet but I saw ShoeMoney uses it a lot and it must be good what a trend setter he is if I said this

 

Adsense is the best unless you want to target things more specific.

 

It totally depends on your site.

And Adsense is not the best or highest paying typically.
Affiliate programs typically will earn you more.
But it is the easiest to implement.

Yep Azoogle is great and many affiliates love them.
Again it depends on your site and the type of offers
that would appeal to your visitors.
