I've been itching for a new laptop, so I've decided to sell 2 or 3 of my networks and raise 3-4 grand for a nice laptop. The one problem is, I dont know which one to buy. I've been hearing good things about MacBook Pro, but the OS X Tiger scares the hell out of me. Very disappointing in my past experience. What's a nice reliable model out at the moment? I dont need it for gaming much, since I rarely do game, and when I do, I stick with something like CS (Which runs fine of my PC, which is around 5 years old). Most of all, I need good battery life, something not too bulky, and a comfortable keyboard. I almost threw my friend's Toshiba out of the window (Cant know which model, sorry, though Im sure its pretty old 1-2 years) because the several keys were in different places (originally designed like that). Any suggestions for a nice over-all model?
