    Wordpress is a site where you can build a blog for free. You get traffic by having an interesting blog....you put a link to your site on that blog...and boom...traffic!

    I agree with a lot of the sites that were given above however I must say that you cannot leave out places like Ezinearticles.com and and other highly trafficked article directories

    => goarticles, buzzle, searchwarp,...

    The only thing with these sites is that you have to be very active and be posting new fresh content on a daily, weekly basis

    Youtube <--- I make my own videos
    Stumble
    Twitter <--- But I dont use my twitter account. So other people must be posting about my site.
