Most popular screen resolution?

I guess 1024x768 but I also want to know about your site's visitor stats?

Not Necessarily. Till today many users prefer using 800x600. I personally use 1024x768, but some good Webmasters I know prefer 800x600.

the second most popular resolution is still 800*600

 

If your making a fixed width layout, its still best to keep it under 800px.

my screen is 1400 x 900
but on the stats on my site, most of the people use 1024x768
many people have dropped support for 800*600. i used to do them 800*6 like 4 years ago.
so.. i think the best will be 1024, even yahoo dropped support for 800-6 1 year ago
