    I recommend phpLD as well (Using it since more than one and half year without having any problem).

    phpLD is a long way in front of anything else as far as popularity goes, additionally it gets regular updates and new versions and there are lots of mods available to add increased functionality, I dont think any other directory script can match it in these areas.

    phpLD is the superior. Theres others to consider tho like esyndicat, site sift, phplynx etc

    yeah theres loads. Most of them arnt powerful enough, but are useful if you want a "nice links" page on your average site, with a nice admin panel to organise them:)

    Yes I will always recommend PhpLD as it is one of the best directory scripts around & has the max number of mods, support, templates that you will find for any other script.

    pretty much anything thats made it into Codango or hotscripts could be called popular...

    theres a ton of them out there...consensus seems to indicate which is THE most popular thogh ;):p
