Who would you rate as the 10 most popular directories on the Web? So far as to my knowledge i have collected the 10 most popular and influential directories on the Web and posted on my blog here: http://corpocrat.com/2007/06/02/10-most-popular-web-directories/ Is there any other directory i am missing?
While I agree upto no 9 -- I can't agree at No 10. I would have put either of these directories there. Just type web directory - on Google -- Romow/directorydump/GII/ewebpages.org/2yi.net/linksjuice are more popular than v7n - IMHO. 2yi.net is quite old and has been going steady for a long time now.
i would say add Ewebpages in there ... Dump in there ... much stronger than v7n http://www.stpt.com/directory/ < mayb this one deserve to be there
Yes those are the most popular directories.. But its hard to get listed on botw, dmoz and may be others.. directorydump, ewebpages, romow, gii needs to be added in that list.
Hmmm..well, i think there is lot of competition for the top 10. Thats good to see. Nonethless once you get into top 10 your directory is already established and you can make more $$$.
Nice list of course. It is hard to track the best top ten directories. Your list seems to be quiet ok. I can see dump, gii, ewebpages among the competitors.
nice list, but then if you plan to make it 20 then it will be better, as there are a few more directories that can enter the 10!!
