I have repeatadley seen people trying very hard to get traffic from search engines and other stuff. I am not saying that you shouldn't but why should you when if you use web 2.0 services wisely you can can very good traffic. The traffic I get comes all from Web 2.0 services, I suggest that you use it and use it wisely. Also by using web 2.0 services you will get backlinks and there is a good chance that you get SE traffic as well
I've read this several times, but I'm not following you. Are you talking about using, for example, digg and such to build traffic? Or developing your own web 2.0 site and it taking off from there... though you still have to get the initial traffic.
with sure all source of traffic are good , but best type of traffic is natural from search engines ... anyway ... if you are involved into some cpm deals ... its not matter from where the hits come ...
Yeah, this sounds like more of a failed attempt to advertise. Read this: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/oreilly/tim/news/2005/09/30/what-is-web-20.html SEO is part of Web 2.0.
Depends on your niche - Web 2.0 sites (I believe you are actually referring to social bookmarking sites) are rubbish for promoting some types of website.
This post actually has been posted to more than 1o webmaster forums.. LOL I can see it also in V7N...
i disagree that it is better then seo or comes even close. But yes if ou do it right it can be a good source of traffic
