Good morning folks, what do you personally believe makes the most passive income of all possibilities? What combinations are the most effective and what type of business do you think is not worth the effort?
I've had the pleasure of running a few profitable businesses. The most passive for me has been my first blog, (3-4k/month) and I publish a few articles a week and answer emails/comments. THat's pretty much it! I feel blogs are the best in terms of passive income.
Wow, really? $3-4K per month from just publishing a few articles per week So what are your sources of revenue? From adsense, affiliate marketing? Please enlighten us all
I suppose it's possible with a well established blog / AdSense. A quick search showed that these were the most expensive AdWords keywords back in 2015: Insurance, Loans, Mortgage, Attorney, Credit, Lawyer, Donate, Degree, Hosting, Claim. Following that logic, a blog on any of these topics will probably display the most expensive AdSense ads too. Well, at least that's the theory.
And those keywords fall into some of the most competitive niches out there. I think one of the biggest mistakes that new bloggers make is looking for a profitable niche instead of a niche in which they feel comfortable blogging.
Niche sites and Amazon. It's some of the most passive money I've made. The easiest money comes from AdSense on a set of WPMU blogs.
