Most of them trust bloggers, not media

A majority of Americans have more faith in bloggers as purveyors of news than traditional media which they say is out of touch with what the people want.

A majority of 55 percent in an online survey said, bloggers are important to the future of American journalism and 74 per cent believe that “citizen journalism” will play a vital role in future.

What is your opinion on blogers verses traditional media? Which is your preferable choice?

Bloggers rule, man. There's freedom of speech in blogs, no censorship, no brainwashing or media kind of control.

Yes, there are more voices. It's a bit like the internet in general. You have to judge for yourself whether things are quality, but many people would rather do that than have a handful of people controlling opinion. Of course you have to be careful, since people blog for money and other agendas they often don't make clear (a bit like the regular media's behavior).

true. While the media is like a tool in the hands of politicians, blogs are like the minds of all people being exposed. If a blogger wants to be on the move, popular and interesting to the visitors he makes sure that he has something interesting posted on the blog. Thus, the traffic to the blog increases and if the news are not like made up it eventually increases the integrity of the blog in question. That is like an example of the corruption in media and blogs. The corruption percentage in media is way higher than the one in blogs. Think about it.
