Yes as others said don't only try to get backlinks from do-follow sites because it may seem unnatural to google , so try to build your backlinks from no-follow sites as well.

Everybody understands the market value of dofollow links today. Do not expect to get it for nothing unless you are very lucky. But in some cases you might get a dofollow link in exchange for some contribution like a post, an article, or money
