Let's assume there was enough space in America and they opened up their doors for anyone from any country to come there and start a new life and gave then the means to safely get to America, what % of the world's population do you think would jump on the chance? IMHO, I think it would be very high.

If you compare America to some idealistic eden then it sucks, but compared to other countries in the world America is not such a bad place.

I never said there were any. Plenty of other links, but I see they are swept under the carpet, as usual.

Assumes it's an isolated incident, which it is not. It's a problem. So much so that countries are issuing travel advisories. Sweeping terrorist activities under the carpet in the name of "multiculturalism" is letting terrorists win. In this case, moral equivalence (New York) doesn't hold up.

Who's sweeping anything under the carpet. You said you didn't want to travel to Thailand as you think you'll be beheaded.

I asked for an example of a tourist being beheaded in Thailand and you start posting links to bombs going off.

Using your 'logic' people shouldn't travel to New York, Bali, London or Madrid as they might get beheaded.

How do you know anything is an 'isolated' incident? It's pure BS to live your life as to what 'might' happen.

No letting people dictate to you where and where you cannot go is letting them win. New York does in fact hold up due to people giving exactly the same reasons for not travelling there in 2001 and 2006 as you're giving for not travelling to Thailand.

If you want to live you're life based around terrorist actions, bomb scares and 'might' happens, then you're welcome to it. Personally I'd rather not, I travel by the London underground every day (the day of and the day after the London bombings) I've enjoyed some cheap trips to New York and a nice holiday to Sharm-Al-Sheikh.

Sweep, sweep sweep! I never said anything about tourists being beheaded. That's your criteria. Apparently beheadings, bombings, tourist deaths and travel advisories aren't enough for you. Pass the broom?

Never new there were beheading problems there. More moral equivalence that doesn't exist?

So you know of additional New York bombings the rest of the world doesn't know about? Additional London bombings. Oh, sorry, you probably want to sweep that under the carpet. It's not "politically correct" to be aware.

I must have missed those delusional travel advisories. Did you sweep them under the carpet too?

I live my life being aware and not sweeping facts under the carpet. It's not politically incorrect to be aware. If you want to pretend there are no problems, by all means, sweep, sweep, sweep. Feel free to contact Australia and tell them how "outraged" you are that they are aware of facts.

You said that you value your head. If you didn't mean being beheaded what did you mean, or was it a throwaway comment that you're now backtacking on as there's no evidence?

There's not, that's the point. Your 'logic' doesn't work

So you can guarantee that there will be no more? You're sure it's an 'isolated' incendent? If it's isolated then why are you so worried about terrorists?

It sounds like you live you're life cowering at home sacred to step out of the door. If you want to let the terrorists win then you just carry on. I'm glad the majority of people aren't like you as the world would grind to a halt at every terrorist attack. - Exactly what they're looking for. Sad to see you've 'surrendered'

It's politically incorrect to value one's head! OMG, he values his head!

LMAO, that's your logic that says there were. You are right, you don't work! The worse the travel advisory, the more you defend! But that's not anything new, is it?

I can only gurantee that you'll never get it.

You've never been one short on assumptions ;)

Sweep those facts under the carpet and once again, pretend they don't exist. Defining moments of Eurabia by MattUK :D

I like America... .. especially California, Nevada, Hawaii and Florida. I'd live in America over most other English speaking countries.

New Zealand's a great place if you want to start a business. It has hardly any regulations and it cost $50 New Zealand dollars to incorporate a company.

Business in New Zealand is like the wild west just a bunch of cowboy's a rocking and a rolling.:D

Not a very big market but.

They must have crossed over to your broom. Same old MattUK, despite State warnings and overwhelming evidence, sweep it under the carpet of "multiculturalism." If only it were a Christian problem, then you could speak out!

    True that.

Anyway as far as I recall when I last visited the States in 1988, there was nothing much to see anyway. Well, except for Disneyland :D

Not much works on you, I guess when you get to your age you get a bit set in your ways ;)

I get that you pulled up some news articles, none of which show a tourist 'losing their head' what does that prove?
