Hi guys, I have recently read a lot of self-development books (mainly on entrepreneurship, visualizing and focus) and I must say that Psycho-Cybernetics is the book that I think has affected my life more than any other. Do you like to read? What's your golden nugget of a book you highly recommend, and why?
Yes I like to read. On entrepreneurship i love the book called "Stay Hungry Stay Foolish". it is a story of 25 Indian Institute of Management (A) graduate who chose the rough trade of being an entrepreneur.
I know it's not really a self-development book, nor it gives one certain instructions on how to act, but the endless source of inspiration and motivation for me has always been The Little Prince..
'Who will cry when you die' is the book which changed my perspective towards life. I still love going through those pages.
4 hour work week form the "self-help" category, and Fight Club/Portrait of Dorian Gray when it comes to fiction.
I like sci-fi and surreal fictional stuff, but the most inspirational thing I ever read was probably Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I should probably crack that open again soon!
Those are good ones too, the one about seizing the moment, and the other about enjoying every moment; a 4-hour work week would ensure this
I really like "Conversations with God" series by Neale Donald Walsch. I find these books pretty much inspirational
The latest inspirational book that I have read was The Alchemist. Its an easy read and it makes you think a lot about your life. READ IT, Its totally worth it.
