What do you think is the most important factor in achieving a top 10 ranking? For me, I feel that the “title tag†when used effectively has the most dramatic impact on search engine rankings. Thus, I would say that the title tag is the most important individual factor. However, I know that there are a variety of factors that contribute to great rankings and the ultimate ranking success for a website is decided on the utilization of these factors in combination; but I would like your thoughts on the one specific factor you consider most important? The most important factor for me is the LINK! It must be a quality link, and a quality link is 1) On topic (The page linking to your page is about the same main topic) 2) Ranked well for the keyphrase you are after (In the top 1,000) 3) Contains the keywords you wish to rank well for 4) Has high PR (PR 4 or higher)
As per my openion, keywords place most important role in search engine optimization. include keywords in url, title, description and use keywords in content.
1) Title Tags. 2) Your Domain name should contain main Keyword. 3) Meta Description 4) Keyword Density 5) Your content should have keyword and that should match Title keywords.

How about relevance. If search engine spiders are as smart as they claim to be and employ LSI, they would pick up contextual relevance. So even if you fail to mention the exact keywords in your title, metas and content, you should still be ranking for your primary keywords and better the long tail keywords.
