I sold a $15,000 boat a month or so ago. Got $40 commission from it. I've seen quite a few > $30 commissions in the past week or so, all PS3 consoles!
Biggest single eBay commission I have ever had was around $180. It was from an expensive engagement ring auction. I have many eBay commissions in the $100-$150 range though. You can check what auctions you are being paid commission for if you think your payout is inaccurate.
How do you guys make those ebay ads fit to your site? Banners? Or do you use text links in some intelligent way?
The eBay affiliate program is the best thing CJ has going for them. I have been using it for about 15 months now and I\'m doing great! The highest sale I have had was $155.00.
The does not sound right. The eBay fees for a $15,000 auction would be $240.76 if the person started their auction at $.01. 55% of that would be $132.41. That would be your commission per the eBay affiliate scale. eBay Revenue Compensation $0-$24.99 40% $ 25-$99.99 45% $100-$999.99 50% $1,000-$9,999.99 52.50% $10,000-$99,999.99 55% $100,000-$249,999.99 57.50% $250,000-$999,999.99 60% $1,000,000+ 65% So how exactly did you end up with only $30?
If the boat was listed in eBay Motors, then eBay's revenue would have been different meaning a different commission than what you are thinking. To list in eBay Motors there is a flat fee of $40 and an extra $40 I believe if the item sells.
I am hoping to sell one of this - http://www.exquisitejewelry.info/1-...ier_Ladies_Tank_Francaise_WL4081KF_Watch.html
