Hello, What was your most expensive sale via eBay affiliate program? Anybody here ever sold a car? Thank you, Ralph Nunes
Well, this is strange... I have a site where all the linkg go to eBay motors. Every single click you make on my site redirects you for a Mercedes auction. Now, yesterday I made 5 sales... Yep 5! Now the "funny" part of the story; Sale ammount: 0.50$, 1.18$, 0.47$, 1.21$, 0.96$ Total ammount: 4.33 € Do you think this is possible or am I been ripped off? All the best, Ralph Nunes
I got a $500 commission the other day for one sale. Not an ebay sale though. Trying to figure out what product it was and whether its some kind of error.
Again not eBay but the most amusing one I've had was for a Stormtrooper costume, $200 thank you very much.
It's odd but possible. If those people from your site bought somethingelse instead of Mercedes on Ebay with 7 days, you get credits for the sales.
Yeah I often get people that visit my site - then they click through to eBay and buy something (cheap) totally unrelated to my site.
Yes, I didn't make that clear - those figures are the affiliate commissions I earnt on the sales. You'd be doing very well to pick up a motorcycle for $20 to $40!!
ebay does not give too much for sale, they pay percentage of the commission what they receive from seller.
You cant get such a big comisions on EBay. They pay you for the people that registers trough you. Not for what they are purchasing.
That is not true. eBay.com pays you 40% of the revenue that they make from a sale you refer plus $12 if that purchaser registered as a member to bid / BIN on that item. The country specific eBay's - eBay.co.uk and eBay.com.au, for example, have different affiliate payment structures.
I ever got once sale, from other merchant with sale about $3000 which $300 in commission for some expensive machine,i forgot that specific product.
some good affiliate managers have run contest to offer a high reward on one high ticket item like a shed or oriental rug sometimes.
