I found out that Business.com sold for $350 millions and it is amazing domain sale and possibly the most expensive one.

I wish I registered the domain many years ago.

Quite impressive isn't it, i think it was the whole site with domain included in the sale, as in the whole business itself.

    Still great though. :)

Yes. Business.com is earning $15 millions per year. The owner can stay just on the interest of the money he got.

Must feel so good when you know your earning enough to be able to live on the interest if you want to.

Oh absolutely, i know i desire that too :)

Im currently reading a book by Richard Branson and in it he mentions how when his planes were being fitted out with recliner seats, that he got feedback from the customers that the seats didn't fully recline, this was after they were all fitted.

So he did away with the semi recliner seats at a loss of 30 odd million then forked out an additional 70 million to get the full recliners in place.

Its astonishing that a company can take a loss like that and still be wealthy enough to deal with it.

It is a directory where you have to pay tons of money to get in. I think the name is so good, the owner can do anything and it will still make money

I thought, that vodka.com ($50.000) is the highest domain price. Now I see that I am wrong.
