    The Bugatti Veyron is the most expensive new car, I believe that it retails for $1.8 million. However, there are the rare classic models which retail for far more at auction.

    Yes, the Tata Nano has the distinction of being the cheapest car in the world. When it goes on sale in India this year, it will retail for about US$2500. I have also heard that the Nano will be sold in the United States by the end of 2011.
