Most ever paid for a forum??

    I was reading a thread that talked about $8 million going to a forum as venture capital and it makes me wonder! Does anyone know what the highest amount ever paid was to purchase a forum?? I don't and I'm curious! :confused:

    That's actually a very good question...and I don't know either...for some reason, I would be surprised if one has ever gone for 7 digits

    I read somewhere your forum is generally worth your annual revenue if you wish to sell. Unless you never advertised and have crazy traffic.

    Funny that the site is only a PR 4 for big boards and the gaia is a PR 5. See big PR's arent everything. And these sites have the traffic and what not. lol And the money as well.
