    Steve had his on tv show/movie/FedEx commercial so naturally he was a celebrity

    ...So, my point was/is - just not some jacka$$ that has his/her 15 seconds of fame/shame :D

    I think celebrity is just based on recognizability, popularity, and/or buzz. George Bush based on this definition could be considered one, as could Steve Irwin.

    Anything involving K-Fed is pretty embarassing... if you think about it, not only did he get dumped by Brittany but he got dumped via text message.

    Also... his "highly anticipated" debut album didn't even crack the Billboard top 100 and only sold 6,000 copies it's first week.

    Or maybe the fact that his career is over, he has lost his bank account and he is doomed to work at McDonald's the rest of his life.
