Most effective one way link building technique?

Hi All,

My question is for all link builders and seo present here, which link building method on applying, improves your search engine ranking in a short span of time ?


Given below are the choices.


1) Directory Submission
2) Forum Posting
3) Social Bookmarking
4) Do Follow Blog Comments
5) Article Submission

 

Well is not the link building techniques matter. What matters is how to choose your keywords in my opinion. If you want to rank fast you need to find keywords that have less competition and build links on it.

 

There is no quick fix, a comination of all those and good on page SEO is what's required. You might get some initial success for do follow comments and forum posts but look for long term links from articles and other blogs

 

There is no quick fix. You can "Twitter" your way to the top, -OR- you could do it the "old fashioned" way by building anchor text links.

I chose the latter, it takes a lot longer (6 months to one year) but once the momentum is going, there is no stopping you!

Everyone trashes DMOZ, but that one directory keeps "replicating" itself in other directory scripts that use Open Directory Project data, so I recommend that you TRY to get listed there!

 

It's good to use a diverse set of backlinking strategies. Especially if one falls out of favor with google.

 

The bottom four are the quickest way to gain a higher rank within the serps. Personally I find article writing to help the most though I do all 5 equally.

 

IMO, forum posts & do-follow blogs give you low-quality links. If you can splash out on some quality directories (JoeAnt, Best of the Web, Yahoo, Business.com) you're in business. But nothing beats getting your links embedded in content on other blogs/websites, no matter how you choose to do it.
With article submissions there is always the duplicate content hurdle, unless you manually (or via an automated program) "spin" your article so that you have different versions.

 

Guest blogging is another great way to build back links. Using this method you can build back links while exposing your blog to a new audience. The blog owner also had the advantage of fresh content.

 

i would say posting unique articles on top article sites and on-topic comments on relevant blogs are most effective methods here

 

All methods work but there are lots of things you should consider..

Try linking to hundreds of domains instead of sending/placing/exchanging hundreds of links with one single domain. That is definitely SPAM and Google won't tolerate it.

Article submissions, website directories (you need to choose the good ones), social networks, blogroll/website links,dofollow comments, buying links, staying features on PPC search results...

And you should boost your ranking for the desired keyword/keywords..

I would go with social bookmarking

 

directory submission and article.Although social bookmarks are good we never know when they would make the link no follow.that is why i hate them.

I think if u do it all together mixx of all give things are most effective. That's my experience

 

You may try all those techniques you listed. Just be patient and sooner you'll make it on top.

 

The thing that has worked best for me is social bookmarking. The reason is because first I get some link juice from the page they create plus I get some natural linking from websites that find my info interesting. So its a win win situation.
