What is the most depressing movie that you ever saw?
A few of my all time nominations are

    "On the Beach"
    "Remains of the Day"
    "Baby, the Rain Must Fall"

Obviously, these are oldies. But it doesn't matter whether your selection is new or ancient. I just think that it would be interesting to see if there's any selection that forum members have in common.

Oh there was this one by Stephen King where in the end the devil took this young 6-year old kid to be his sucsessor or somthing... Realy depressing. Don't know the name of it though.

Munich - went to the cinema to see it and was bored out of my brains. I know a lot of people rave about it but i thought it was absolute rubbish.

i think The Village was one of the most depressing if not the most. Right after they revealed those monster looking things were fakes....
