I'm so tired of getting business cards where you know the business is only a one or 2 man show and the title on the card says, CEO or Director. I know there are a lot of creative business titles for employees and owners, I just cant think of them. So if you have heard any or have a great one yourself, then post it below! Bonus points if you can include an image of the business card!
The most best i have ever seen is the Managing Director of ABC company and Strong Employee of ABC company.
Why put your business title on it. In some circles it is necessary, but in this company no titles are ever used on cards, just our names.
Onw of the best one I had seen is the owner of Sahara India, a tens of thousands employee company. Its owner Subroto Roy goes by the title of "Managing Worker" instead of "managing director".
That's a nice start guys! The best one I ever saw, was stolen from Wile E Coyote, when some put "GENIUS" under his name on a business card
"Creative Director" if you're in creative services and leading projects. Else, "Manager" seems ok...in the US, it depends on the business structure: if you form LLC, you're usually "Manager", for Corporations(Inc) you get to be President, CEO etc...if you're Sole Proprietor (DBA)...I guess you can put "Representative" or you may also put your job title...ex: Web Designer, Java Developer, Carpet Installer, Freelance Translator, Professional Plumber etc
In my country the title on the card is important. One of the reasons is because the government requires a formal structure of the company and the guy in charge that is responsible for the whole "affair" has strong commitments..
