handsomeseo - I have not seen spam submissions in so long I forget.... :)

Probably some of the vulgar terms which would not be appropriate to post here.

If your getting spammed you should get the spam guard mod and not have to bother with it anymore.

I think it depends on your guidelines. I mean if you say no gambling, words like "casino" and "poker" will be on the list. But if you run a gambling directory then that won't be the case.

IMO banning words should be a last resort. What about websites about the film Casino Royale, or seliing pokers for your fire, or the red hot poker plant. So just those two words can encompass a whole lot of false positives.

Instead you should be looking at taking a more sophisticated approach to spam blocking. Look into An0n's spam guard mod, or Snowblind's SBD Directory Software, which uses a method for spam risk assessment.

So, are you asking for help with your own directory or are you hoping to come up with descriptions that will get past our spam detection measures?

In my experience viagra, cialis are the main spam words. I believe noone wants to have such sites listed, so you can ban this words without consurns.
    This confirms Nima's post...
