I ended up with a few more Wordpress questions today, so hopefully someone will be able to help: 1. Collapsable Categories - Of several categories issues I'm trying to figure out, this is the big one. I've now tried two different plugins that didn't work right, and have one installed right now, which either isn't working, or I managed to screw it up. Basically, there will be 20 top level main categories. I want them displayed on every page. They'll each have 10 sub-categories, who will in turn sometimes have subcategories. I only want sub-categories displayed one level at a time, and only if a visitor is actually on it's parent's page (for instance, only show "internet marketing" if they're in the "marketing" category and only show "SEO" if they're in the "internet marketing" subcategory). Any ideas as to what I might be missing with this plugin, or if there's a better option? 2. Hidden Categories[/i] - I know how to hide specific pages and sub-pages from that menu, but not categories. For example, I'll have one subcategory called "blog" or something, but I don't want it displaying with my subjective categories, b/c I plan to add a link to it separately on the sidebar, along with the link to the site's forum. Is there a way to do this? My concern obviously would be that if I need to use a plugin, it may clash with other category-related plugins. 3. Categories as Subdomains - The last big category issue is needed to have each category (hidden or not) show as its own subdomain. I did find a plugin that will do this, but I'm curious if anyone's used it before, and would know if it might cause problems if being used alongside plugins for these other issues. 4. Related Posts - I'm using the related posts plugin to show related posts/articles below each post. Is there a way I can move the location of where they're being displayed to above the comment form? I haven't been able to figure it out. Also, at the moment, it's showing the post names horizontally, one right after the other, even with list tags added before and after each title. Does that mean there's an issue in my css affecting that, or am I again missing something? 5. Popularity Contest Plugin - for categories - If I want each of my categories (which will be displaying almost as separate sites on the network via subdomains) to show the most popular posts in that category, do I need to create separate tempate files for each of the 20 category pages, or is there some way to have it display based on the category the user is viewing? This one's far from "necessary" if it's going to involve a lot of extra time in the process right now (can always do it later), but figured I'd ask. Thanks! Jenn
