Well I have a landing page for my niche in which I am trying to promote to gain a couple sales a day from clickbank. So far I have done the following steps to gain my first sale but now want to amplify the number of sales a day so I need DP's help on more methods of gaining traffic...

    Done So Far -

    EzineArticles - 2 Articles Submitted
    HubPages - 1 Hub created
Yahoo! Answers - Answered a couple questions
Signature - Signature in related forums

Thats what I have done so far to advertise my landing page for my niche. Any thoughts on what I can do next?

If you have the budget, you may want to try PPC through Google Adwords or one of the other PPC programs. If not, you need to try related sites and blogs to advertise on.

I have a small budget of probably around $100 a month I could use on advertisements. If I could get at least 4 sales from the $100 then I would be in the profit range. I am just worried I will screw something up and lose $100 without any sales.

Dependning on your niche, you could do ezine solo ads. Videos? Safelist advertising, blogging, blog commenting, Web 2.0 are a few more.

Posting just two articles to only one site will not do much by itself. Post your articles to more places and continue writing more articles to post.

Well with my 2 articles I got a total of 3 reads... kind of gave up on the idea after those results.

I think you need to write more articles. Get someone to submit them for you to 50 to 300 article directories.

And then, you will need to do more Yahoo Answers, that will help you getting more targeted traffic, if done correctly.

    Good luck :)

If you try using digg, you must write some interesting title and description to get more digg from other member, and try to promote your article to your digg friends.

    God luck:)

Are you making good use of your forum participation? Why don't you have a link to your site in your signature forum? Why don't you have a link to your site in your user profile? The user profile link can help your Google search rankings, and I would have gone to your site just now if I could have found a link to it.

I would try viral videos..Such as youtube and all..Maybe local newspaper or anything related to your topic. Myspace, facebook, make a page for your site on all of the social networking sites. This wont get you seo or what not but can provide members. Anything and everything you can do to get your link out there in quality spots. Just do whatever you can.

Viral videos sound new for me, but interesting and I will give it a shot too.

Additionally to what was mentioned earlier, if your site is a blog, then consider blog directories submissions (technorati.com, blogcatalog.com, and so on).
Also have a look at web promotion widgets: blogupp.com, blogrush.com, etc.

I don't plan on posting my URL on this forum because of my niche.
I don't want my niche over saturated ;)

    ugh.

With less than 60 posters who have read this thread as of today, it's not likely.

You've made a decent start, but if you're looking for serious traffic generation you'll probably need to work in a lot more traffic streams.

Web 2.0 and social sites can house millions of potential prospects. You can find a free listing of such sites here (there are literally hundreds):

    http://www.digital-resale-rights.com/web20freedirectory.htm

Video is also a very rich source of traffic. I'm not sure what your video editing skills are like but with some simple software and some basic knowledge you can tap into a lot of targeted prospects that are on sites like Youtube and such.

I've PMd you with some resources that will help - hope you find it useful.
