    Hello everyone!

I've been stalking this board for sometime trying to pick up on the huge amount of info that is available and I would like to say that it has been quite helpful.

I'm new to IM, like many here, and I need some advice. I realize that most of you do bum marketing, but I have little patience and always feel the need to see results, good or ill, immediately. With that being said, I have been doing PPC. It has been ok so far, as I have been breaking even for the most part, and that is with direct linking. I know that building a landing page is the best way to increase conversions so I ended up doing that...however, my results have completely stunned me.

I followed several of the guides and suggestions here on this board and built a review site. However, instead of seeing higher conversions, it took a nose dive! I was converting 1 for every 200, now its 1 for every 300 or higher! I obviously think it is the landing page, so if any of you guys could check it out and provide some assistance, that would be great!

    Here it is, www.TattooDesignSitesReviewed.com

    Thanks!

    Rob

Hey Rob welcome to the boards, sorry to hear about the conversion rates.

For a review type site where you review multiple products I personally would probably line them up horisontally instead of vertically and have each product in a little box.

    Something like:

(except probably a bit bigger in real size)

Just threw that together in Photoshop lol, but you get the point.

I think you should put images for all products too and give them a star rating. A good idea would be to hyperlink the images as well.

No need to get fancy here, you can use some standard html tables, easy as pie in a wysiwyg.

    Just my $.02

Thanks for the suggestion. What is your typical conversion rate with that format and is it with ppc or just bum?

Honestly I've never done a landing page with multiple products before, so I can't tell you. This is something that I've seen other people be successful with though.

Like, first the headline, then 1 or 2 intro paragraphs and then the boxes.

The most important thing you could ever do is to have some personality in your writing, some flare if you will. The #1 copy killer is boredom. I shit you not.

This is a pretty good idea.

I've had a lot of success with multiple product reviews although I've always done them vertically. Horizontally is something I think I may try though - I like your layout idea.

Yeah, I've read that guide, which is why my landing page is formated the way it
is. I don't know, I've changed several a few things with the page and still no sales. I had better luck just direct linking! lol...Maybe I'm just pushing the wrong product and niche. I see that very few people promote these tattoo sites (thru ppc), but yet these sites have had consistently high gravity for a long time, so I assume SOMEONE is making money from them.

    *Sigh*
