it is very important that you stricly follow adsense TOS. mutiple account are not allowed for a single person. somehow they might find out and you will get all of your accounts banned. however, if it is multiple person using multiple accounts, like other members of the family, then i think it could be ok

Guys, its not an issue of having more than one accounts! its about logging in on same IP address. I know there is no problem at all. Read the T.O.S carefully, it doesnt mention that each account must have a separate I.P.

If it's really for two people it shouldn't be a problem.. if it's two for the same person you'll need to register one adsense account as a business account.
It's not about the IP address, It's about the owner of the account and the address of billing. As I remembered from their policy, you can create a business or corporate account too. As a business, it's treated separate than your personal account. There are also tax issues, because some people could try to open several account for tax benefit.
