You wont personally get infected as long as you don't install the crap, it can be a pain in the ass if you want to view your own site and pages though, I would suggest using Opera instead of Internet Explorer wen working and viewing your site .... the gateway doesn' work when you use Opera as a browser

LoL yeah there's several issues - but not many are fazed by the issues or damages caused by zango/seekmo.

It's basicly annoying and is a form of adware, pop up ad's are displayed constantly to those who download/install the toolbar from your site, this can cause your members and guests to hate you and your site for infecting them with the download.

It is also said and said a lot, that zango toolbar will hijack affiliate links from CJ and leading affiliate merchants, hence if you're selling a affilaite product from your site and someone purchases it zango gets the sale and not the webmaster whos site it's on.

Now when 99% of us are webmasters (on DP) and 40% of us sell affiliate related products - it means 40% of us are getting ripped off by zango and the toolbar that's installed - which is being pushed by fellow webmasters here at DP.

Zango/Seekmo Toolbar is useless and can't be installed on Windows Vista.
Opera Browser doesn't even recognise the crap and goes straight through the Gateway.
Zango was 180 Solutions.
in 2006-2007 zango was forced to offer sufferers an easier alternative to rid the crap.
Even after removing the crap - you are left with traces still on your computer.
In 2006 they were phishing on MySpace and eventually landed in court - they claim an employee was mucking around.

Nope - but my business partner did and he couldn't install the toolbar on his system, so we had to find a way for him to access our pages with the gateway on it, then we found a few browsers that would bypass the gateway instead like Opera.

Is that your comeback ? Geee I expected more ....
