More than 1 adsense account?

    Hi,

Is it possible to have more than 1 adsense account? I run 1 main business which is my main job and I have various other "hobby sites". I don't want to risk my main site getting banned. Is it possible to run more than 1 account for different sites? What is the "laws" on this?

    Thanks

You may have one account for you personally, and every legal entity (company) can have one.

''I’ve talked to AdSense reps in the past about whether they allow multiple accounts per publisher and their response has always been that in general it is not allowed. However they do seem to make exceptions to this if you have corresponding company details or have a different person’s name as the one responsible for the account. It’s worth keeping in mind that AdSense do seem to track the IP addresses of people logging into accounts (it’s one way they track click fraud) so it might be worth seeking their permission before going with multiple accounts.''

Just contact Adsense to be sure.

You can use different channels, but what I think Amaze is saying is that he/she wants to "experiment" with these "hobby sites." And if one of these hobby sites goes down in flames, amaze is concerned about it pulling down the whole Adsense account. I've wondered about that, too. You can set up legal entities easily (here in the U.S.), but your involvement in that entity is part of the public record. And like a previous post said, there's still the IP tracking to think about...

Yes this is what I am saying... I have emailed them.

Basically I own a "ltd" company and of course am "myself" so in theory (and legally) I should be able to run 2 adsense accounts..? 1 for "myself" and 1 as the "ltd" company.. Well I have asked the Q and I will see what they say. :)

You can have 2 account if they are of 2 types i.e 1 is individual and 2nd one is for business purpose.

Before you go ahead you should also email them so they don't block or terminate it in near future, also mention them your intention of creating two accounts.

Is it allowed to register new google adsense account for family member (example for my sister) from the same computer (same IP) as from where I registered mine?

monkichi, most probably it's allowed but you can make sure that there is no problem in it by emailing this question to google.

In regard to your Q monkichi, I have done exactly that, and I have had no trouble, or no emails from google about it. I also know several others that have done the same, and haven't heard of any problems with doing this...so I am guessing it is allowed.

I assume that if you create a limited company, you can register a new adsense account.
