    Hi,
Wonder if its phpld 3.1 that has put my sites pages into supplemental after an ugrade from phpld 2 to 3.1 ? Or something else that i might have done caused it ?

www.sbclansite.com is the one i am concerned about , lots and lots of supplemental pages have appeared.

Same script but version 2.0 for www.h-log.com but supplemental results are like 50% lower.

Did anyone else also face this issue after upgrade of their phpld script?

    Regards

We are all going threw it i think as im still seeing changes in the indexed pages and other results...
I dont like 3.1 as its garbage ... so ive been told
i only use 3.6 when upgrading as i like it better.
and thats what both king and sleek are anyway...

    thx

That is troubling news, now i wonder if i should switch back to version 2.0 or give other directory scripts like http://www.indexscript.com/ .. a try

But what is the difference in 3.06 and 3.1 thats causing this ? And anyone found any solution to it? If infact its the script itself.

What i was trying to say is that i personally have had suceess with 3.6 and dont care for 3.1 as ive been told that it causes many problems but i would say that 3.1 would kick the shit out of 2,0 any day of the week so you would actually be stepping backwards if you went back to 2.0 if you ask me...
I have all PHPLD and 1 indexscript www.adultconnection.info <---- for sell for right price...PR4 ;)
    thx

Do you like your indexscript directory if you have used version 2 of phpld which one would you suggest ? And 3.6 version of phpld u meant 3.06 i am guessing. What sort of problems were u referring to 3.1 ?

    using 3.1 for months...stable..no problems.

your robots.txt needs to be ok for less supplementals. also i'd recommend disabling rss feeds.

From 2 to 3.1, perhaps it is the detail pages that is causing the supplemental problem?

From the search i cannot tell if its the details page or just the categories itself, seems like there are no detail pages indexed..

3.1 has nothing todo with you getting sump.

I have sumps in all versions:p I've notice in the past months that just right when you get all things in order, google comes and place the sump on most of pages. Then the sump will be gone, then appear again and and on.

So a few days ago , on my blogs I added the Top category links of my directory inot my blogroll. If you look at my blog to the right you'll know what I mean.

I guess you just need to point those pages where it needs to get index or crawled.
