I would like to know when a surfer clicks on "More sponsored links" and then after that doing "search sponsored links" instead of search the web, would we have to pay for those clicks?
Yeah.. this isn't too clear.. can you provide an example site? It sounds to me like the answer would be 'yes'
Hi there, The More Sponsored Links section of the Google results behave in an entirely different way to those of the normal Search Engine Results Pages. I've covered most of the topic in a blog post at http://www.attacat.co.uk/news/article/google_adwords_more_sponsored_links_explained/ In essence adverts on the More Sponsored Links page do not accrue impressions or clicks and in no way affect your normal search campaigns. You are not charged for any clicks on these adverts. Additionally they are recorded in Google Analytics as Google organic results. I thought so also, but I just need to confirm what I know! Thanks very much. I will check out your blog after finish with this post.
*penny drops* - I see what you mean now, I didn't know about that - indeed because it searches through old ads, you don't get charged - http://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=te&answer=53502 EDIT Squarecat - I think I accidentally gave you neg rep, when it was supposed to be positive :-( Give me a nudge and I'll give you a couple of pos reps later.
