Is it me or are more people using the Yahoo search engine nowadays? I noticed for some keywords in my niche they are being searched almost double than that of Google... Anyone else noticed that in their niche??

I have noticed that google has slowed down a bit too. I have received more from yahoo now than before by at least 5%. Not complaining there. I also tend to use yahoo search more as well, have been getting better search results there.

More people use Google Search than Yahoo by more than 8 times - Just more people use Yahoo's website period, and only by about 5%.

In fact, I wouldn't even bother putting up ads on MSN or Yahoo. We've done it like 4 different times at work - and every time it happens the same - nothing happened to our sales.

I get more traffic from yahoo than google.

That might be because my pages rank higher over there.

Either way, I like yahoo more, even though google sends me money.

I use Yahoo. I search a lot for health sites, and get good results.

I also rank good in Yahoo.

In some area, using yahoo is more often than google. So far as I know, in Japan, Hongkong and Taiwan, people use yahoo more than google. In China mainland the most using search engine is neither google nor yahoo, but baidu search engine.

To be honest, with companies such as home page friends paying people to search aftering partnering with yahoo, it's bound to get more users using yahoo...

That's hilarious that people equate their own website stats with a trend among everyone. More likely those people just have better rankings on Yahoo. If their rankings were the same on Yahoo and Google, everytime Google would send them considerably more traffic.

I get more traffic using Yahoo. However, I'm not sure more people are converting to Yahoo, my sites are just ranked higher there.

One of my clients gets about 35% of his traffic from Yahoo where he is SERP 1 and 2. The same keyword on Google SERP 3 and 4 returns the balance.

Considering how easy it was to get ranked #1 on Yahoo I certainly think it is worth the effort!

I don't see Yahoo taking over the lead over Google anytime soon for traffic.
