I didn't say that the Jordanians or the Iranians wanted to Nuke other people. I'm just saying that I would understand the Jordanians being afraid of a Shiite run state having the nuke without there being a strong reason for them not to use it.

And I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want the IRA or any government they ran to have nuclear weapons were I living in that region of the world.

And I know there are other foreign factors. Someone said they couldn't think of a single reason Jordan would want the bomb. I gave -one-. That one happened to be one of the more obvious ones to me due to traditional Sunni Shiite conflicts in the area.

Sheesh. The way you post any time anything remotely religious came up I'm starting to think that you believe all people that have any religion to be idiots.

No, I didn't insult your religious believe. The gulf states(except Kuwait) should perhaps be even more scared by Iran then Jordan.

However, we have to wait and see how this case turns out. They might or might not develop nuclear weapons.

The UN does need some kind of power to inforce international law. The whole mess in Iraq would of never happened if the UN had the ability to do so. And sanctions don't work against dictators.

They should set-up a way that international force will be used under a particular dicated criteria. And it has to be funded multi-nationally....to really get those whom say they back it.

Otherwise it's all whimsical, and lacks cohesion. No enemy could take on the world, if they're warned by it.

True. They loved the oil for money program.... ohh, I meant the oil for food.

It was free dough....put in European banks. The starvation just wasn't as televised as the war.

WHIG broke the NPT with India. It is evident that Bush and Rice are heretical.
The US is transparent in its attempt to undermine the meaning of any treaty.
J Bolton called it the happiest day in his life when he rescinded the US signature on the ICC agreement to define war crimes as an act of aggression.
Bush, Cheney, Wolfenstein, Rice, Rummsfeld, et al, are criminals worthy of death sentences.

This is where the US has gone wrong. If we could just play ball and buy into the same corrupt behaivor of the rest of the world, both the French and Canadians would love us. The Germans would still hate us either way.

There have been many definitions of critical thinking. From a practical perspective, it
    may be defined as:
A process by which we use our knowledge and intelligence to effectively arrive at
the most reasonable and justifiable positions on issues, and which endeavors to
identify and overcome the numerous hindrances to rational thinking.

    History

Many (if not most) have more in common with Nazi ideology than with religious ideology, and work primarily with racist ideals, such as white supremacy (see, for example, the Christian Identity movement). As clarification, Evangelical Christians, however, are often incorrectly associated with this group as "Far Right Christians."

Things CNN Will Never Tell You About Religion

    1. That there is no God.

    2. That you will not live forever.

    3. That Noah’s ark will never be found because it never existed.

    4. That Christianity began as a violent first century messianic sect which learned to cope peaceably when its messiah didn’t show up. http://www.butterfliesandwheels.com/articleprint.php?num=208

You had better believe that I have no shortage of indictments against religion, how stupid it is, how erroneous its reasoning.

    Let's do it, okay?

It looks like someone ranting about something that has nothing to do with the topic.

Canada's liberalism seem to effectively be mostly a product of Quebec. If it really pursued indepedence, I think Canada would be a lot more like America ie where the really big cities are liberal and the rest is right leaning.

I've known a few germans...they're fairly nice people. Why do you say that? Perhaps I'm missing something about their country.

I think it is the thin air and improper pronunciation of vowels that are the root cause of most of their problems.

It was a joke. Because Germany on the subject of terrorism, Iraq, nukes, etc., has always been on a fence. I suppose their history is partly to blame, that and their distaste for any opinion the West has with regard to controlling another countries ability to kick the shit out of other countries. I'm 1/4 German BTW...
