What happens if I have more than one keyword on a link? Let's say "keyword 1, keyword 2" instead of "keyword 1". For that link, are counted both keywords in Google? Thanks!
I don't think so, Many people have like one long sentence as a link. You will rank well for exactly the keyword you used.
if you want to rank for 'keyword 1, keyword 2',then use that. if you want to rank for 'keyword 2',then use that. using 2,3,or more keywords wont give you equal weight to those keywords, but it will give a little to those single keywords. if the 2 keywords together doesn't make sense and has a zero search volume, stick with using only one keyword.
Well, using several 'targetted' search terms for your specific site does help within the content body...Just don't over do it...keep at a maximum of 3 search keywords per article... I get my articles done by cheap writers but I get high quality and just plug them into my blogs and websites...They're keyword optimized when they write them for me, so I dont have to do much work whatsoever!
That was a good technique to create different variations of your keywords and use it as an anchor text.
I am going to give you a different suggestion than others are giving, Use more keywords it will help, Simple why your title tag is about to 65 chars? Use your website title to make back links as anchor text.
I had few hundred links from article directories with 1 keyword in anchor text. I then decided to change and put more than 1. I edited all articles, after few weeks, I even lost all my ranking for the 1 keyword I used before. So, then I edited them all again to 1 keyword in anchor text
I wouldn't say that it will give no weight at all but you'd better get two links with two anchor text.
