How do companies have the little 'extra' info and links below the listing? Such as this: Is this something google just does or can you sign up for it? heh.
you have to be considered and authority site and be number one.....by the way I just knocked an authority site to number 2....
Same with me., i just knocked an authority site to no. 2 for an important keyphrase., Ours is an authority site too., But for that keyphrase, When his listing was no.1 , It showed that 4 extralinks., But now ours (authority site) is no.1 but it does not show the 4 extra links., Even weird., He is in the second position, and i saw that 4 extra listings for his site which was in the second position for few days SO i think., GOogle takes time to analyze before giving extra links for a particular Keyphrase even for an authority site. The factors it may count is: How long your site remains in the first position for a particular keyphrase How long the previous sites were in the first position that keyphrase., How long the visitors stay in your site (i think it can be traced through cookies) after clicking that particular keyphrase What links he clicks (if that guy has the google toolbar) in that site etc.,
So, who decide who and what is an authority site? Do you get a letter from G to let you know your site is an authority site?
